Digital Illustration
The Digital method:
I create and produce highly detailed digital and traditional illustrations. Almost all of the illustrated work starts from a quick sketch
which I use to work out a finished outline that I scan and then colour digitally.
After the illustrated piece is finished, I will then enhance the colour of the overall work using colour correcting techniques.
The Traditional method:
Although I create most illustrations in the digital way, I
sometimes use traditional methods of painting. As with all
my illustrated work I start with a simple sketch but normally
when going the traditional route, I sketch and paint straight
onto the canvas. I block in with base coats of colour to create
the painting, then use many layers to achieve the fine
details.
The 'Big Ron' Illustration Collection
Digitally illustrated graphic novel style poster.
Originally I created this character for a one-off illustrated piece that eventually turned into this large format poster for print. Since the poster illustration went public I've received plenty of positive feedback on the story and character. Now I'm developing the story into a short illustrated graphic novel, of which I am currently working on.
All of the parts to this story can be printed up to A2 as high resolution limited edition prints.

The 'No Pity' Illustrated Collection
Digitally illustrated graphic novel style poster.
This story spawned from my love of chrome and robots, the perfect match for each other in any illustration. One small kid, one big robot and a hint of revenge is how the 'No pity' story goes.
As with all my illustrations, the individual parts are all hand drawn outlines, digitally coloured and corrected. The text in the poster is a mixture of vector and traditionally drawn.
All of the parts to this story can be printed up to A1 at their
largest, as high resolution limited prints.

The 'Hitman' Collection
Digital illustration The Hitman series.
Inspired by the French film 'Nikita' I came up with this illustrated series of three Limited edition prints. Everyone loves the idea of a hitman, stealth, no holds barred carnage and looking good at the same time. This is another idea that I will be developing into a short graphic novel style poster in the near future.
All illustrations of this series where created from hand drawn outlines, then digitally coloured and corrected for high resolution large prints.

The Organic Collection
Digitally illustrated 'Organic' series
Inspired by two old acquaintances known as 'The Essex Rockerz'
who paved the way with the 'organic' style in the Essex graffiti
scene in the 90s. I came up with this little collection of illustrations,
my spin on the organic incorporating metal, real life influences,
the organic theme and a healthy dose of imagination.
These illustrations were done in the usual way. Starting with traditional hand drawn outlines then using digital colouring and correction for the finished piece.

The 'Various Illustration' Collection
Various 'one-off' digital illustrations.
A collection of 'one-off' ideas for different illustrations I've created.
Some of these were ideas that I had many years ago and revamped them to bring them to life and some a homage to the spray can and my love of graffiti art. The other illustrations are ideas I've had for individual 'one-off' illustrated pieces.
All of these were done as large limited prints from A2 up to A0
for some of the wider pieces.
